We cannot access private Stories. Only publicly viewable content can be processed.
How It Works
ClipsSaver processes the TikTok Story link you provide and fetches the available media file from TikTok's public servers. The file then downloads to your device through your browser—we don't store copies on our end.

What We Need From You
A valid link to a public, non-expired TikTok Story.
What Happens
Your browser fetches the Story content and saves it locally.
What We Don't Do
Access private accounts, bypass regional restrictions, or recover expired content.

What Are TikTok Stories?
TikTok Stories are temporary posts visible at the top of followers' feeds. Unlike regular videos that stay on profiles, Stories automatically disappear after 24 hours.
Creators use Stories for behind-the-scenes moments, quick updates, polls, Q&As, and time-sensitive announcements. The temporary format encourages casual content that won't clutter a creator's main feed.
The challenge: Once 24 hours pass, the content is gone—even for the creator. ClipsSaver helps you archive public Stories before they expire.

What You Can Save
Video Stories
Short video clips save as MP4 files.
Photo Stories
Images save as JPG or PNG. Multi-photo Stories save as separate files.
Your Own Stories
Back up content you've posted. TikTok doesn't offer a native export feature for Stories.
- Important:
The 24-Hour Window
TikTok removes Stories from their servers after 24 hours. Once expired, the content cannot be retrieved by anyone—including ClipsSaver.
Tips for successful downloads:
- Save Stories soon after you discover them
- Check the timestamp on TikTok to estimate remaining time
- Stories showing timestamps near "23h" may expire within minutes

Device Instructions
iPhone & iPad
Use Safari or Chrome (iOS 13+ required). Safari saves to Files → Downloads. Chrome saves to Photos or Files. Tap "Allow" when prompted.
Android
Use Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet, or Edge. Files typically appear in Gallery, Downloads, or Videos folder. Grant storage permission when asked.
Desktop
Any modern browser works. Files save to your system Downloads folder.
Troubleshooting
- Download not appearing?
Check your browser's Downloads folder or Files app. On iPhone, look in Files → Downloads or Files → On My iPhone.
- Safari blocking the download?
Go to Settings → Safari → Downloads and confirm the save location. Disable pop-up blockers temporarily if needed.
- "Content not found" error?
The Story likely expired, was deleted, or the account went private. Double-check the link is correct and the Story is still visible on TikTok.
- Slow or stuck download?
Refresh the page and try again. Large video Stories may take longer on slower connections.
- File won't play?
Ensure you have a media player that supports MP4. On iPhone, videos should open in Photos or Files automatically.
